Successful Partnership with KIPP DC Leaders

School leaders share impact of spring coaching engagement

Access Coaching Collective partnered with KIPP DC in spring 2023 for a six session coaching engagement with four school leaders. KIPP DC’s Managing Director of Knowledge & Learning, Emily Allegrotti, shared: I feel so lucky that leaders at KIPP DC had the opportunity to benefit from Access Coaching Collective coaches! Reading participants' feedback on their  experiences affirmed my belief that coaching is a wonderful tool for growth and development.

School leaders who participated in the six session coaching engagement shared:

• I am more confident now than I ever was, and better equipped to dive into leadership work that is both impactful and authentically me.

• With the support of my coach, I have learned to lead with more curiosity...I have learned to trust myself and approach crucial conversations with compassion for myself and others.

• I was pushed through thoughtful and intentional questioning. I was provided a variety of resources to deepen my understanding and knowledge. I was affirmed and it felt aligned and genuine.

School leader post-survey results:

• 100% would recommend this program to their peers and agreed the coaching engagement was a positive experience

• 100% reported that their job performance has improved

• 100% reported that they are more effective as a leader

• 100% agreed they are showing up as the leaders they want to be vs. only 50% in the pre-survey

• 100% felt clear on their areas of growth, with 50% increasing their clarity since starting coaching

• 75% felt more confident
